The Santa Clause (1994)

Synopsis: Divorced father and toy factory executive Scott Calvin’s (Tim Allen) attempt to have a good Christmas with his son Charlie (Eric Lloyd) is thwarted by a series of self-inflicted mishaps, including the KILLING OF SANTA CLAUS. Scott and Eric are whisked away to the north pole by flatulent reindeer and learn from head elf(?) Bernard (David Krumholtz) that Scott is the new Santa. Scott’s year-long transformation into the jolly old elf, as well as Charlie having ZERO chill about his dad being Santa, puts him in conflict with his boss (Peter Boyle), his ex-wife (Wendy Crewson), and her partner Neal (Judge Reinhold), who sucks.

The Episode
We recall The Santa Clause (1994) for the holidays. It's the one where Tim Allen enters a legal contract in which he turns into Santa Claus after accidentally causing the prior Santa's death. Then he loses custody of his son because everyone thinks he's gone mad. It's really a fun holiday film for the whole family!
