I kept referring to Liam Neeson as "Liam Neesons." This is not my joke, it is instead the fantastic work of Key and Peele. I love them. Watch any of their sketches instead of watching this movie.
[Molly adds: There's also THIS amazing Liam Neeson sketch where he does improv with Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Warwick Davis. Video clip is 5:31 and worth every second.]
Also, I, Dan Jaquette, claimed scrapple was just garbage meat and couldn't quite remember what else. I should know better, I like knowing facts about Philly. So to clarify, it's garbage pork meat with some spices and thickeners in it, like garbage meatloaf.
More Holiday Episodes
We recall The Holiday (2006), a "crowded rom-com" where two women swap houses for a few weeks and find themselves falling in love with men in their new locations. But also one of them forms a friendly bond with an elderly neighbor to make the movie longer. No apologeeze for our flawless Judes. Happy The Holidays from all of us at Totes Recall!
We recall The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), a stop-motion animated movie about the dangers of narcissism starring Jack Bonington and Emily. A creepy duck and Bone Daddy are also there. We also feel sad that Dan had to miss this episode, but he does make a couple of appearances!
We recall Miracle on 34th Street (1947), a black-and-white Christmas movie from, like, 1000 years ago. We talk about beards, Santa, and the post office, but we mostly talk about glërgg.
We recall Jingle All the Way (1996) live in Minneapolis, Minn. at Trylon Cinema. There are tons of local references, reindeer danger, and one very horny neighbor. Plus, what might be a Santa fight club.
We recall The Santa Clause (1994) for the holidays. It's the one where Tim Allen enters a legal contract in which he turns into Santa Claus after accidentally causing the prior Santa's death. Then he loses custody of his son because everyone thinks he's gone mad. It's really a fun holiday film for the whole family!
We recall A Christmas Story (1983), a movie one of us cares about and three of us have seen parts of on TV. There is a flag pole, a junkyard bully, and a pretty good dad. Plus, we meet a new end credits hero. Boom!
Happy Holidays from all of us at Totes Recall!
We recall When Harry Met Sally (1989). It's a love story with a ton a meet cutes, stand-up dialogue, and one heck of a Christmas tree salesman.
Every time a bell rings, we recall It's a Wonderful Life (1946). Jaquette tries to guess what the movie is about, we bet we might cry, and we all attempt James Stewart impressions at one point. Plus, Zuzu's petals!
We recall Die Hard (1988) for the holidays! There's explosives, machine guns, and German accents! All the ingredients necessary for a Christmas classic. Plus, we talk about Winston the police officer and if there is a teddy bear in the movie.
To celebrate this holiday season we recall Gremlins (1984), the movie where adorable kitten-toddlers turn into horrifying murder-monsters. Molly remembers being scarred watching the movie as a child, Joe Dante is born, and we find out why George Washington's birthday can be so depressing.

Happy holidays from all of us at Totes Recall! In celebration of the holiday season, we watched the Christmas classic, Home Alone (1990). We remember Kevin McCallister's House of Horrors, Jaquette gets the old-man feels, and Molly realizes she's never seen the movie.
But wait, there's more! Keep an eye out for a special bonus episode on January 1.
