We recall The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), a movie Molly watched only recently so she would get better at crossword puzzles. We run through the characters like Four Door and The Mayor, try to remember if there are trees in this one, and really get into potato talk.
We recall Never Been Kissed (1999) a rom-com where Drew Barrymore pretends to be a high school student and crushes on both her teacher (inappropriate) and a fellow student (inappropriate). There are many "yikes" moments.
We recall Waking Ned Devine (1998), a movie about a small Irish village coming together to trick the government. We talk about nudity, seals, and Irish accents. Plus, we discuss hills more than one would expect.
We recall Mannequin (1987), a rom-com where a young man falls in love with an old woman with a young body that is also sometimes a mannequin. We have questions. Plus, we talk about The Safety Dance and roast beef vests.

We recall E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) because we're pretty sure there's a Halloween scene in the movie. Molly remembers E.T.'s mom picking him up, we don't remember the astronauts, and Beth just wants Mary (the mom) to have a nice time.
Happy Halloween! We can't tell if we are more scared by this movie or how bad our memories are. We recall Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990). We remember a lady gremlin, an Einstein gremlin, and maybe there's a drawer gremlin? Beth bases her entire "recollection" on her memory of a Key & Peele sketch. And Joe Dante makes his triumphant return.
We recalled Psycho (1960) as a film about a man who dresses as his dead mother to commit murder. It turns out it's really about an adult who drinks milk. Like, a good portion of this episode is about milk. #milk

For the spooky month of October, we recalled the classic love story of a girl and her dead boyfriend, Ghost (1990). Molly gets a second chance to review the movie, we decide if it really does "have it all," and we get into the intricacies of ghost physics.
It's showtime! Happy Halloween from all of us at Totes Recall. In celebration of all things creepy and crawly, we watched Tim Burton's Beetlejuice (1988). Beth tells us why Beetlejuice is her nemesis, we recall bureaucracy in the afterlife, and we try to remember what VHS means.
