The Episode
We recall Splash (1984) in celebration of Hanksgiving. We’re pretty sure Tom Hanks is in this one, and maybe he falls in love with a mermaid. We ask if she has legs, we discuss the name Madison, and make the big reveal that wives poop.

MORE EPISODES TO CELEBRATE HANKSGIVING
We celebrate two made-up holidays by recalling You've Got Mail (1998), a romantic(?) comedy(?) where the owner of a corporate bookstore manipulates a woman into falling in love with him over email while crushing her small business. Happy Netvember and Hanksgiving, everybody!
We recall Turner & Hooch (1989) for Hanksgiving! We are very disappointed that our first half predication is correct, we determine both Hooch and Tom Hanks are “fully intact,” and Molly can’t stop thinking about Ted Turner.

Happy Hanksgiving! The time of the year where we celebrate the films of Tom Hanks. We recall Sleepless in Seattle (1993), a romantic comedy where Meg Ryan falls in love with Tommy Hanks over the radio as he talks about his dead wife. We talk about loose clothes, houseboats, and for some reason, Leonardo da Vinci makes an appearance.
We recall Saving Private Ryan (1998) starring Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, and sadness. We discuss the horrors of war, cultural dads, and Patch Adams. It totally makes sense.
A special thanks to Francis Arevalo for sponsoring this extra episode of Totes Recall. Thank you, Francis!
“There’s no crying in baseball,” is a line from this movie, we think. We recall A League of Their Own (1992). There is sisterhood, Tom Hanks is a cad, and an annoying kid becomes Hanks’ nemesis. Plus, we prove once and for all that none of us knows anything about baseball.
And also, Happy 4th Anniversary to us! Thank you all for listening and supporting the show. We love you.
Houston, we have a podcast. We watched Apollo 13 (1995) and reached for the moon (and to be fair, we reach for a lot of things in this episode). We try to recall the astronauts aboard Apollo 13, if there is a training session in the beginning of the film, and we all gang up on Dan Jaquette.
Tom Hanks goes to bed a 12-year-old boy and wakes up a full-grown man in this beloved film, Big (1988). We try to recall what songs he plays on the floor piano, if his parents think he is at a sleepover or kidnapped, and who had top bunk. Plus, the return of a Totes fav, Did They Bang?
