It is possible that I overstated my interest in Ralph Macchio. It made Beth so uncomfortable, I could not stop myself. While I read the occasional Tiger Beat at a friend's house, and had plenty of crushes, the truth is I'd blush to be caught with the kind of smoking hot photos and hot gossip you'd find in most teen magazines. At home, I had subscriptions to Readers Digest and Cross-stitch Magazine. Justifiably, the AARP sent me a membership card. I was 10.
